Nathan Strom
PhD student
Nathan Strom, M.S., is a PhD student in Hydrology and Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Arizona, where he earned his M.S. in Hydrology. His research focuses on whole-ecosystem evapotranspiration (ET) estimation in water-limited environments, examining how the spatial organization of vegetation reflects subsurface hydrologic processes and can be used to improve ET estimates. He has prior experience in vadose-zone hydrologic modeling, soil hydraulic characterization, hydrologic monitoring of urban watersheds, and water and soil quality analysis in agricultural settings.
