Muhammad Ahmad

Muhammad Ahmad is a PhD student in Hydrology and Water Resources at the University of Arizona. He joins the University as a U.S. Fulbright Scholar from Pakistan, with a background in civil engineering and water resources management. He holds an MSc in Advanced Water Management from Cranfield University, UK, where his research focused on lowland peatland hydrology and sustainable water management. His current research focuses on hydrological modelling of climate change, land-use dynamics, and their impacts on regional water resources and flood resilience, with particular interest in integrated approaches to support climate-resilient water management. Prior to joining the University of Arizona, he served as an Assistant Executive Engineer in the Punjab Irrigation Department, Pakistan and worked as a Research Assistant at Cranfield University on an Environment Agency-funded peatland restoration project.
